The next ACE film screening will be ‘Power Station’, when a filmmaker and artist duo decide to turn their London street into a renewable power station . . . what could possibly go wrong?

Power Station began in the depths of lockdown with the question ‘‘what could we do from where we live, with the people around us, to build a prototype for a new way of living?”

The film charts a turbulent journey from sleeping on rooftops to growing thousands of sunflowers and attempts at a Christmas number one single with the local school. A quest to build community power in all its forms becomes a vibrant portrait of a neighbourhood and a testament to the power of art in changing minds about what is possible.
