Our projects are helping to develop sustainable, integrated waste management systems for the town, and extend the useful life of products by repairing, donating and sharing.
The waste hierarchy or triangle, below, filters down from most to least favourable actions and encourages us to think about how we can extend the working life of the things. The more we do that, as a community we can use fewer resources, save carbon and save money.

Used coffee grounds in landfill emit methane – a greenhouse gas 34 times stronger than carbon dioxide.
